During your stay you will be met by your host Odpal George, a local from Leh and resides at Saboo Village next to your resort and personally meet all the guests. Interact with your host and gain a close up insight into the region, the inhabitants and their way of life. Dine on authentic Ladaki food and incidentally Odpal a foodie himself has had one of his recipes featured in the famous Bollywood Cook Book (Click here for recipe).

He has a younger brother, Peter Yourgail George who assists him with the Resort's activities. He initially worked as a naturalist in Central India and in the Himalayas and is also an avid wildlife photographer.

Odpal is a Line Producer and has organized many film shoots within Ladakh for Bollywood & Hollywood. His projects include the famous movies like 3 idiots, Bhag Milkha Bhag, LOC Kargil and the latest project yet to released movies include Mirzya directed by Rakyesh Om Prakash Mehra.
